Evolution of the Hisense H Lite smartphones

The Hisense H Lite smartphones were always sold with the Hisense H series. The Hisense H Lite is classified as a cheaper option for users that cannot afford the Hisense H smartphone or other variant in the series. The Hisense H Lite smartphones has evolved quite a bit since they started. This can be seen in the images above since the Hisense H12 Lite came into existence and went through the years till now, the Hisense H50 Lite.

The most changes that happened in the series are the following:

  • Design
  • Weight
  • Chipset
  • Colors
  • Front and Rear Camera
  • RAM and Storage memory
  • Battery capacity

Some of these changes were welcoming for the users and some were not. But now, let us see how the new Hisense H50 Lite has improved or not compared to the Hisense H40 Lite.

Hisense H40 Lite VS Hisense H50 Lite

The major differences between the Hisense H40 Lite and Hisense H50 lite are the following:

  • Weight – The Hisense H50 Lite is 43g heavier than the Hisense H40 Lite. That is a major upset for users that prefer lighter smartphones to hold and use.
  • Front Camera – Hisense H50 Lite’s front camera lens has 3 megapixels more than the Hisense H40 Lite’s front camera lens. Meaning the Hisense H50 Lite takes better selfie photos and videos. Besides that the Hisense H50 Lite’s front camera is positioned more on the left side of it while the Hisense H40 Lite’s front camera is positioned more in the middle of it.
  • Rear Camera – The Hisense H50 Lite’s rear camera is more robust compared to the Hisense H40 Lite’s rear camera. This may cause some users not to go for the Hisense H50 Lite due they stress the rear camera may break easier due it is robust. However, the Hisense H50 Lite’s rear camera lenses have better megapixel specs compared to the Hisense H40 Lite’s rear camera. This may cause users still to select the Hisense H50 Lite.
  • RAM – Hisense H50 Lite has 1GB more RAM memory compared to the Hisense H40 Lite’s RAM memory size. This means the Hisense H50 Lite runs faster through applications and data compared to the Hisense H40 Lite.
  • Battery Capacity – The Hisense H50 Lite has 1100mAh more battery capacity compared to the Hisense H40 Lite’s battery. This means the Hisense H50 Lite will last longer before having the need to charge as compared to the Hisense H40 lite.

Overall: The Hisense H50 Lite has brought nice improvements for the Hisense H Lite series. The only concerns I have for the Hisense H50 Lite is its weight and robust rear camera. Rest welcoming improvements for the Hisense H Lite series.

Hisense H50 Series Comparison

The major differences between the Hisense H50 Lite and the other Hisense 50 smartphones are the following:

  • Weight – The Hisense H50 lite is the heaviest out of the entire Hisense H50 series.
  • Front Camera – The Hisense H50 Lite’s front camera has the same front camera specs of the Hisense H50 Zoom. However, the Hisense H50 Zoom front camera is a pop up camera and the Hisense H50 Lite’s front camera is not. The Hisense H50 has the best front camera out of the series.
  • Rear Camera – The rear camera specs of the Hisense H50 lite is very close to the same as the Hisense H50 Zoom. However, their layout is quite different. The Hisense H50 is the best again out of the series in terms of rear camera specs as it has 12 megapixels more compared to the others. Thus, the Hisense H50 takes better photos and videos.
  • RAM – The other two Hisense H50 smartphones have 2GB more RAM memory as compared to the Hisense H50 Lite. Meaning the rest of the Hisense H50 series runs faster with data and applications as compared to the Hisense H50 Lite.
  • Storage – The other two Hisense H50 smartphones has double more than the storage memory size as compared to the Hisense H50 Lite. Meaning the Hisense H50 Lite stores less data and applications compared to the other two Hisense H50 smartphones in the series.
  • Battery Capacity – The Hisense H50 Lite has the best battery capacity out of the entire Hisense H50 Series. Meaning the Hisense H50 Lite’s battery lasts longer before having the need to charge as compared to other smartphones in the Hisense H50 series.

Overall – The Hisense H50 Lite specs are lower compared to the premium Hisense H50, but very similar to the Hisense H50 Zoom. However, the Hisense H50 Lite’s battery capacity is better compared to the Hisense H50’s battery capacity and way better compared to the Hisense H50 Zoom’s battery capacity.

Conclusion

The Hisense H50 Lite is a good smartphone to have, especially if you cannot afford the Hisense H50 or Hisense H50 Zoom. Plus the Hisense H50 lite has the best battery life out of the entire Hisense H50 series.

When comparing the Hisense H40 lite to the new Hisense H50 Lite, there has been major improvements in the Hisense H Lite series. Especially in the following categories:

  • Front Camera
  • Rear Camera
  • RAM
  • Battery capacity

I would recommend the Hisense H50 Lite to any price sensitive user that want features that are close or better than the certain premium or mid range smartphones.
