  1. A very interesting article. I have a Samsung A12 and an iPad. If I upgraded to a Samsung Note, would that cover the tasks I use both for. Is the storage adequate on the note series to be able to replace both?. I have an older Ipad but still store a lot of pictures and use a few apps. Do the ‘notes” have predictive text? And what is the price of them?

    Thanks

    • Hi Steve

The Samsung Note series will provide you adequate storage space for your applications and data. Plus you can expand your storage memory either with a external micro memory card or virtually. But the Samsung Note series will have a lot of space you can work with.

Yes, it has the predictive text function. I would suggest you either look at the Samsung Note 10+ or Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The Samsung Note 10+ goes for +- R7000 on Amazon without shipping fees. The Samsung Note 20 Ultra goes for +- R15000 also from Amazon without shipping fees.

If you want the best camera smartphone out of the two, then the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is your winner. I hope I have answered all your questions. If you have anymore, please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

  2. I have fond memories of the TV ads Samsung ran on these Note series a few years back. It made me want to acquire one for no particular reason other than to feel important! The S Pen and the writing feature made it stand apart from the rest of the field. It’s unfortunate if Samsung is thinking of discontinuing this range. Anyway, as you say, we can only speculate until they fill us in with the direction they take with this handy device.

    • Hi Steve

Samsung just knows how to capture users interest to buy their new smartphones. With the note series it was all about its capabilities you can do with the S Pen and the smartphone itself. I doubt they will discontinue the series entirely as it has a good reputation. We will just have to see what happens. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
